Barrie Tent & Awning has a range of retractable awning products for you to choose within our central Ontario service area. Our sales consultants are available to come to your home to go over these options with you. They will show you actual samples of the large range of fabric options that, along with adding shade, can also add appeal to your outdoor space that matches your personal tastes. Note that retractable awnings are designed to provide shade and are not to be used in heavy rains or winds.

 SPACE - Motorized Retractable Canopy

This is your best option for locations that experience high winds but still want the option of having a retractable shade. This product is attached to a building and has aluminum legs up to 12’ high to support the retractable shade or can be mounted above an existing pergola. The product is powered by a Somfy® motor that is controlled by a hand remote and comes with a 12’ long grounded plug. This product is not designed for winter use. Support legs require either a wood deck, concrete pad or new concrete footings. This product is not designed for medium to heavy rains* or winter used

 

*NOTE: This product can be installed with limited slope and therefore should not be used in any amount of rain
